Paint Correction
What is paint correction?
- Paint Correction is a process that removes imperfections and blemishes from a vehicle’s paint, such as scratches, swirl marks, water spots, and oxidation.
- This process is more in-depth than a wax or polish which enhances the vehicle’s paint appearance without removing all of the imperfections.
- This process is completed in multiple steps and thoroughly to restore the paint back to its original appearance or as close to it as possible.
What's the Process?
- Evaluation: The paint is inspected thoroughly to identify problem areas and to determine what correction steps are needed.
- Washing and Decontamination: The vehicle is hand washed thoroughly to remove dirt and dust. Then a clay bar treatment is applied to remove any remaining dirt, road grime, and other contaminants.
- Compound & Polish: This step is done meticulously with a machine polisher to remove the imperfections and blemishes in the paint (scratches, swirl marks, etc.) To also increase shine and clarity in the paint.
- Inspection: wiping down the paint and checking for any missed areas & imperfections
- Paint Protection: Upon your choice we’ll apply a wax, sealant, or ceramic coating (highly recommended) to help lock in the correction results.
- Final Inspection: a final inspection of the entire vehicle to ensure all areas are completed.
